With deepest sorrow, we bid farewell to our dear friend, actor, artist, and volunteer, Louise Workman, who went to that bigger stage in the sky on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2010, after  a blessedly brief bout with lung cancer, and an all-too-brief life of loving and giving.  Louise was a free spirit who loved everyone and was loved by all.  She devoted many hours to keeping SCAC alive.  We will miss her positive outlook on life, and her ability to bounce back in the face of adversity.  Till the curtain rises again, Louise…

  Bill Hodge

With deepest sorrow, we mourn the sudden loss of another pillar of Sager Creek Arts CenterBill Hodge died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, August 29th, 2010.  One of the most positive people we know, Bill lived life to the fullest, always trying something new, and always with a smile.  At SCAC, he was a member of the Board, Facilities Chair, Theatre Committee member, and President of the Dogwood Actors Guild, in addition to acting, directing, and building sets for numerous plays.  To say that he will be missed is a vast understatement.  Thank you Bill, for blessing us with your talent, your smile, and many years of wonderful performances.  We know you will have a script ready for us when we arrive on that big stage in the sky.
