What does an Arts Center mean to a city?
Since the Arts Center’s inception in 1984, we have seen two generations come and go through our doors. As actors, artists, and writers, they had a place to learn and showcase their abilities and/or a place to meet people and make friends.
- For people who are relocating, an Arts Center is an important incentive to settle, especially a Center that promotes as a mission “hands-on participation in theatre, music, literature and visual arts for all ages."
- An Arts Center well-supported by member businesses and corporations shows a community that values the arts in everyday quality of life.
- All that you have given to the Center has been reinvested back into the local economy tenfold.
- We ask you to help us continue reaching out to all generations by contributing to the Center with a tax-deductible underwriting of programs or donations, and in doing so “invest in your community.”
Get involved!
For those who are already involved, we would like to thank you for your continued support of the Center and its activities by taking part as an audience, volunteer, actor, artist or workshop participant of any age. Your personal and/or monetary support is the life of the Arts Center.
If you have never been involved in what we do, we invite you to find your niche with us! We have a busy season upon us, with many events in theater, visual arts, music and literature in the planning stages. We need volunteers to help us with every aspect; no experience necessary! Give us a call or email us, or just stop by and offer your time and talents. We’d love to get to know you.
